Group Strategic Marketing & Communications is responsible for building, protecting, and enhancing the DBS brand in an increasingly commoditised banking industry. Working closely with all units within the DBS Group, we create and execute integrated strategies that focus on communications especially digital communications, marketing and research to differentiate – and elevate – our brand from the rest of the competition.
Part of the core team developing an end-to-end brand platform to take the bank's marketing and communications to a new level; one that not only speaks to customer but engages them meaningfully across multiple channels.
Exploring new, impactful ways to touch people with the DBS Brand – including, but not limited to the development and marketing of compelling content that serves to Position DBS as a dynamic, innovative brand that is redefining banking and "Making Banking Joyful".
Ability to carry these core messages to engage DBS staff meaningfully, and engender pride in the DBS brand.
Reporting into the Senior Vice-President of Brand Marketing, the candidate will plan, implement, manage and evaluate marketing campaigns that meet our core brand and marketing objectives, and to ensure initiatives are on time and on budget.
Actively create and execute on digital communications strategies and Integrate communications plans across social, online and offline platforms
The candidate will also work with agencies and DBS country marketing managers in the region to oversee all creation of brand and marketing assets across the DBS key markets to ensure they adhere to Brand guidelines, including tone of voice.
Use analytics and social listening tools to measure effectiveness of campaigns and to further strengthen engagement with our target audience
The candidate is also expected to work with peers in Singapore and the region to ensure best practice sharing across content and processes.
Preferably with 8-10 years of Marketing Communications at a regional or global level with a track record of leveraging both traditional and digital marketing channels. (emphasis on digital marketing)
Minimally a Bachelors degree from a recognised university
Focused on the big picture and deliver all marketing initiatives around core brand objectives and strategic goals.
A great story teller with excellent demonstrable experience in outstanding content production and marketing.
Digital savvy and comfortable with use of social media/ digital tools & channels
This role requires tight integration with regional marketing partners to optimise campaign efficacy. This includes working with agencies and regional marketing managers to actively track performance metrics in Singapore and across the region through tests and data analysis to maximise ROI.
Strong project management skills - ability to move campaigns forward in a complex environment whilst actively managing multiple stakeholders and maintaining project budgets and schedules - regional co-ordination and budgetary experience an advantage
Great communication, and interpersonal skills to work effectively across multiple teams in an ambiguous, fast-changing environment.
Digitally-savvy and has pulse on up-and-coming digital/online/social media trends
