We are creating the marketing leader role to ensure we build Trusst into the leading lingerie brand in the global e-commerce sector while delivering on our revenue goals. The focus of the role is two-fold:
Solidify and build the Trusst brand: Define what the brand means to the consumer and begin to build out that profile
Drive revenue through our e-Commerce channel: Meet and exceed our revenue growth goals by driving traffic and conversion on our Trusst brand site
Specifically, we are looking for a leader who can crystallize the emotion of being associated with the Trusst brand and then communicate that emotion, through images and copy, to our existing and potential customers. Leveraging the strength of the brand, the person will then build out a marketing strategy – primarily focused on digital levers – to drive traffic into our brand site. Core to that strategy will be development of a cadre of influencers/brand ambassadors who carry the message of Trusst and our superior products to all relevant customer segments. Additionally, this person will identify the critical touch points in the customer journey, and build appropriate messages/calls to action to motivate the consumer to engage, purchase and remain loyal over time. Finally, this person will be responsible for the overall direction, development, and analysis of the performance of the e-Commerce channel (desktop and mobile) – this will include design/layout, site creative and content, and product purchasing.
Define the target consumer and communicate it across the organization
Develop the brand tag line and communication vehicles for establishing it solidly in the target consumers mind
Drive a strategy that begins to drive awareness of and affinity towards the Trusst brand
Design and drive the development of the e-Commerce site (desktop and mobile)
Set a marketing strategy that maximizes our ROI while delivering against our revenue goals
Invest our marketing budget across the full range of digital marketing levers (e.g., SEM, SEO, e-mail, affiliates)
Build a cadre of influencers and brand ambassadors to drive site traffic and brand building
Analyze and assess the performance of all elements of the marketing strategy and site activities
Ensure alignment with the product team on key categories and targeted marketing support
Experience and Characteristics
4-6 years of successful experience as a marketing leader, particularly digital marketing and brand building
Experience and interest within the Apparel and Lingerie markets
Insight and knowledge about the full range of digital marketing levers
Strong business skills with an understanding of how to build a budget and optimize investment for revenue delivery
Self-starter who has a bias for action and is driven to succeed
Organized and efficient communicator
Moves easily between leader and team member depending on situational needs
Drives decision making through influence and action
Understands and lives by the concept of Done. Done. Done.
Must be comfortable in a fast-moving, flexible, “startup” environment.
Motivated to change the way things are done and have an impact
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Analytics; Shopify and Adobe Software (Illustrator, Photoshop) a plus
Additional Salary Information: Commensurate with experience; mix of base pay and equity
