We are seeking an organized, motivated, and skilled sales professional looking for a great opportunity to apply their skills in leading the sales efforts of our three generation two office firm. Sales will include life, health, disability, annuities, and investment products as well as cross selling accounting, tax, payroll, and consulting services.
The sales and marketing team leader will be responsible for working with current clients and prospects to preserve and grow our existing book of business and clientele. Most sales activities will be focused on current clients in addition to non-cold-calling prospecting. Position will be responsible for obtaining new business sales and managing case flow, customer service, client CRM system, and assuring that the marketing plan is being followed and all regulatory requirements are met. The position will work with several other staff members and be responsible for leading the team to meet all sales goals and deadlines.
The successful candidate must have a proven track-record of sales results, have a strong desire and ability to learn and adapt in a changing and complex environment, and have the ability to self-manage and motivate when given clear direction and goals.
Must be able to follow a sales process and be accountable for activity and results and consistently track, document, and report on the sales process. Must be open to coaching and activity reporting and consistent ongoing improvement of sales skills and product knowledge.
An outgoing and friendly personality is required as frequent/daily client contact in person and on the phone is expected. Candidate must be able to multi-task multiple priorities and work in coordination with other staff members to meet multiple office and client needs.

Must have experience in and knowledge group and individual insurance products
Have or be able to obtain NM Group 1 insurance license within 20 days of start and pass all required background/security checks
Microsoft office suite
Proficient ability to work with computers and technology in a paperless office
Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail, ability to interact with clients, achievement driven, and deadline oriented
Ability to lift up to 25lbs and sit for extended periods of time
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Series 6/7 and 63 securities license
Obtained or will obtain Associates or Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or marketing
Professional designations: CFP®, CLU®, ChFC®, PFS
CRM software experience
Knowledge of investment products and related experience
Additional Salary Information: base pay + production bonuses
