We aim to replicate our success in the US and grow our smart beta investment strategies in the European markets. To that end we are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Executive to join our young entrepreneurial team in the London office.
The role will be focused on distributing investment products all over Europe. This Marketing Executive will be responsible for designing and executing an effective marketing strategy with the over-arching aim of creating business growth. The goal of this role is to deliver effective marketing to drive engagement from our target audience, creating demand for our products, generating sales leads for the sales team, and supporting strong service levels through the delivery of timely and effective communications.
The person in this role needs to have a good technical marketing skills and the ability to work both strategically and tactically. They should be able to respond to high level objectives and not just expect a list of tasks to do.
Develop a deep understanding of the sales team's needs and use existing content or deliver new content, defining go-to-market approaches for each specific customer segment and geography.
Work with the portfolio managers and sales team to design, develop and update sales & marketing content in the form of presentations, brochures, case studies, special reports and sales aids for our UCITS product range and ensure their availability to the sales & distribution team
Plan, design and Deliver marketing campaigns for regulated financial products to drives sales growth.
Help to develop FTGP marketing strategy and branding
Actively monitoring market and industry changes to ensure FTGP is forward thinking in its communication strategies
Designing impactful marketing materials for the launch of new products, ensuring a joined-up approach in terms of data analytics, sales, design, marketing and content
Developing other marketing material for event support such as company brochures, invitations, banners, bags and giveaways.
Liaising with internal and external partners - including legal and compliance, HR, graphic designers, translators, printers, web developers, creative agencies and corporate communications - to execute tactical marketing and communications initiatives
Present KPI's for marketing materials and campaigns
Writing and messaging: You will help develop messaging and content used for promotions in campaigns, marketing materials, sales aids, product launches and website.
Graduate with 3 to 5 years' experience in marketing
Experience in asset management businesses and/or listed companies an advantage, along with a good understanding of the global investment industry, markets and financial products, ideally including involvement in both launches and ongoing investor relations
Experience in content marketing-developing messaging for marketing activity and campaigns
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with solid experience of investment writing
Self-motivated, confident and highly organised, with the ability to manage their own projects, liaise effectively with senior management and be strong on delivery
Preference for working in a small team within an agile and fast-paced environment; able to respond to changing needs and priorities enthusiastically and effectively
Diplomatic and persistent, with a creative 'can do' attitude and genuine attention to detail
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Powerpoint and Excel, essential along with Adobe Publishing (or similar).
Knowledge on Quark and HTLM code, will be considered a plus
