The Director of Membership and Marketing is responsible for managing MHPA’s membership database, membership retention and recruitment, and membership benefits and activities.
Develops and executes membership recruitment and retention efforts, including implementation of strategy, engaging in analysis, identifying trends and reporting of results, in collaboration with the Vice President of Membership & Development.
Oversees membership program and consistently evaluates benefits to each member type, making appropriate recommendations for enhancements and opportunities for upgrade.
Develops and maintains relationships with MHPA Business Associate Members.
Maintains overall responsibility of CRM data, including maintenance of member and prospect data for accuracy.
Responsible for development of effective budgets, plans, strategic goals and the performance against budget and plan (for both revenue and expenses) and achievement of department goals, in collaboration with the Vice President of Membership & Development.
Support the development and execution of marketing plans for key areas of the association, including membership, education/training, and the annual conference, in collaboration with the Vice President of Membership & Development and Director of Communications.
Manage development and distribution of email and membership direct mail marketing promotions.
Responsible for membership sections of MHPA website as well as leads and drives content in the online Member Portal, with the goal of increasing participation.
Supports MHPA commitment to delivering service, innovation and results for our membership, in addition to delighting members through benefit enhancements, new programs, etc.
Supports efforts to track key member satisfaction metrics on an ongoing basis.
Work collaboratively with internal MHPA departments to ensure successful management of membership relations, membership/industry related meetings/events and carry out the mission of MHPA.
Oversee annual conference duties to provide a high-profile platform for our members or prospective members.
Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue growth targets and productivity goals.
