This position has the primary staff responsibility for the managing the donor database (Raisers Edge), tasks include, processing tracking and acknowledging contributions, and development and generation of management reports as well as reconciliations with accounting. Additional responsibilities will include assisting in the development of targeted marketing campaigns, assisting with social media activities, helping investigate technology improvements across the organization, and supporting and assisting the overall development function.
Manage Raisers Edge donor database - the process of gift entry, acknowledgement of all donations, including private and individual donations and corporate, family, and general foundation grants
Generate management reports for the finance, development and board management teams as needed
Assist in development of marketing campaigns and collateral materials that promote CWC’s programs.
Organize production and mailing of annual appeals and other solicitation materials.
Report on the impact of the organization’s marketing and communications efforts. Utilize web and social analytics, research, and best practices to evaluate and improve efforts.
Collaborate with staff to identify opportunities to leverage technology for process improvements and innovation; evaluate and recommend systems and applications.
Support the adoption of technology solutions; including implementation, training, and development of appropriate procedures & standards of use.
Interface with clinical team ETO system to keep participant coding in donor database accurate
Preferred Experience and Education:
2 to 5 years relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or Business, preferred
Proficiency with database platforms; Knowledge of Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge and experience with report writing and data extraction a plus
Customer focus orientation with strong communication and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Demonstrated experience with database systems, particularly Raiser’s Edge, word processing and spreadsheet software preferred
Demonstrated critical thinking skills to analyze data and understand its relationship to the overall fundraising objectives.
