Research, implement, manage and support Oakland University's marketing strategies across all platforms. Develop and implement business intelligence initiatives supporting the overall goals for University Communication and Marketing. Efforts include the creation of complex reports, dashboards, data analytics, complex spreadsheets and other relevant technologies.
Bachelor's degree or higher in communications or related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Demonstrated ability to learn a variety of technical tools to achieve outcomes. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate and work well with others. Experience with Google Analytics or related reporting software. Sense of creativity and curiosity, with an ability to find hidden insights within a large amount of data. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience in digital marketing and/or e-commerce preferred. Exceptional Excel and Google drive/data management skills. Experience with CM systems is a plus.
Experience providing technology support to staff and faculty in a higher education environment. Familiarity with CMS and basic HTML. Proficient in analyzing data structures, ability to identify trends and instruct leadership on direction.
