Marketing Coordinator/ Graphic Designer will oversee the graphic design, photographic documentation, organization, website content creation, and eblasts for the Theater & Performance Studies program at the University of Chicago. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:25% Graphic design. Create visual concepts, by hand or using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate audiences. Develop the overall layout and production design for posters, brochures, and postcards for University Theater & Theater & Performance Studies productions.25% Overseeing documentation. Researching, sourcing, and assigning photographers & videographers for multiple shoots. Manage communications, fee and expense negotiations, creating detailed cost estimates, usage reports and ensuring adherence to photo budgets by individual shoots. Help assist with producing in-house photo shoots: hiring and negotiating photographer, hiring and managing stylists if needed, securing locations, orchestrating shoot logistics, and all aspects of production. 15% Update text and images of website and digital communication including Facebook and eblasts. 15% Selection and management of photo & video interns and any freelance photo-research help. 10% Help create workflow for managing, distributing and gathering of image assets, and stay abreast of current technology in order to identify areas for improvement of existing image workflow and processes10% Attend necessary meetings
